Our current stage. HelloMate is in development and private testing. This notice describes the company website and data handling for available, invited test features. Planned features shown in the product preview may change before launch.
1. Who we are
LYRA COMMONS LLC is a New Mexico limited liability company developing HelloMate, a mobile application for pet owners, shared memories, and social connection. Our business operates from Quzhou, Zhejiang, China. We are responsible for the personal information we collect through this website and our private tests.
2. Visiting this website
This is an informational website. It has no account registration, checkout, embedded analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may process technical access and security information such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request time to deliver and protect the website.
If you email us, we receive your email address, the message, and any information you choose to include. We use these to respond to your inquiry and keep relevant business or support records.
3. Information in HelloMate private tests
If you are invited to test HelloMate, the information processed depends on the features you use:
- Account and profile information: email address, display name, age, gender, country, languages, profile photos, and other information you choose to provide.
- Pets and shared content: pet profiles, photos, messages, memories, and content you submit through available features.
- Optional location: device location, including coordinates, when you permit an enabled location feature, such as local weather. You can deny or revoke location access in your device settings.
- Optional verification materials: photos or supporting materials you choose to submit through an available verification or evidence feature. Do not include unrelated personal information in uploads.
- Security and service information: account and device identifiers, session information, verification activity, IP addresses, and technical records used to operate the service and investigate errors or abuse.
We use this information to provide the features you request, maintain accounts, handle support, test and improve the product, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. We request permission or consent where required for an optional feature.
4. Who can receive information
- Other participants: content you choose to share through an enabled social feature can be seen by its intended recipients or audience. Public content can be copied by others. Check the audience and available privacy settings before sharing.
- Service providers: we use Supabase for application authentication, database, and file storage; Resend for transactional app email when enabled; and Alibaba Mail to handle messages sent to our company contact address. These providers process the information needed to provide their services.
- Cloud translation: when you use an available cloud translation feature, the relevant message text is sent to an external AI service provider for translation. This requires that provider to receive and process the selected text.
- Legal and security needs: we may disclose information where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate abuse, or defend legal rights.
The business model planned for HelloMate is optional paid software features, rather than selling personal information or advertising access to users. This website does not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
5. Retention, account closure, and your choices
We retain information according to its purpose, the status of your account or inquiry, and applicable legal and security needs. Closing or deactivating an account is different from complete erasure. Some information can remain in backups, security records, or records we must retain; copies already shared with other participants may remain with them.
You can contact us to request access, correction, a copy of your information, account closure, or deletion. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity and explain any information we must retain.
6. Security and international processing
We use access controls and other technical safeguards appropriate to the features being tested. No service can guarantee complete security. Screenshot protection, when available, is limited by the device and operating system.
Our operations are based in China, and cloud service providers may process information in other countries. Data protection rules can differ between countries. Applicable transfer requirements and product privacy information will be reviewed as public release plans are finalized.
7. Adults and future updates
HelloMate private testing is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information through a test account, contact us so we can review it.
We will update this notice as the product, providers, or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. A public launch or paid offering may be accompanied by additional information presented with that service.
